Meindl Balancing size and fit
The Meindl Balancing is a low-cut day hiking shoe for men and women. It fairly runs true to size. With the Comfort Fit concept , it offers a wider forefoot area with a snug fit at the heel. Likewise, it has a roomier toe box for a comfortable toe splay. This shoe is offered in whole and half sizes.
With a brand-patented outsole, the Comfort Sport, the Balancing is able to yield traction while offering an optimal heel-to-toe motion. Its roughened heel area bites upon ground contact. Its large hard-wearing lugs also improve responsiveness.
This day hiking shoe uses a lightweight EVA midsole. It tapers at the front to permit a smooth toe-off. As part of the Comfort Fit concept, the Meindl Balancing uses a special cork insole with Poron foam which aids in shock absorption. It is topped with a Cambrelle lining with fleece covering. Conforming to the shape of the foot is an Air-Active Wellness Sport footbed with a layer of Soft Print foam. It is added for enhanced comfort and cushioning.
The Meindl Balancing has a durable and flexible upper, thanks to a combination of suede and mesh. The Clima lining within this day hiking shoe optimizes breathability and comfort. Pull tabs are attached at the heel and top of the tongue to facilitate easier on and off. A toe cap provides additional forefoot protection.
