Good to know
- The Lowa Renegade LL Mid is ideal for trail-seekers who wish to hike with balanced performance and comfort in warm conditions. It is designed to help hikers manage edges with its slip-lasted construction.
- Its sole unit, which is primarily comprised of a midsole made of polyurethane and Vibram’s Evo outsole, offers extra walking comfort with its rockered forefoot zone. The supportive Monowrap Frame, ATC footbed, and a Hard Stabilizer (yet another supportive component) complete this sole unit.
Lowa’s Renegade LL Mid is a generally true-to-size, mid-cut day hiking footgear for men and women. The men’s boot is offered in standard and medium widths, while the women’s version only comes in standard. Its sizing choices include a number of half and full sizes. Users are given the freedom to set its fit to their preference using the boot’s quick lacing system with locking ankle hook.
Promising terrain security with adequate grip is the gear’s Vibram Evo outsole. Much of its ability to latch on to tricky surfaces comes from its hardwearing chevron lugs. It is built with horizontal grooves at the heel and forefoot regions for extra slip resistance on slopes and inclines.
The Renegade LL Mid is equipped with the DuraPU midsole for underfoot cushioning and stability. It comes with the Monowrap Frame—A Lowa technology that further stiffens the boot, delivering extra support around the foot as a result. It comes with a joint called Hard Stabilizer which is a type of Lowa support designed for extreme outdoor activities. It is also paired with a removable and trim-able insole called ATC footbed for additional comfort.
Consisting the majority of the Renegade LL Mid’s over-the-ankle upper is waxed nubuck leather. The LL in the shoe’s name stands for “leather-lined” which sees its interior imbued with smooth, moisture-wicking leather for improved in-shoe comfort.
Riveted metallic eyelets and synthetic laces make up the boot’s closure system. The eyelets at the footwear’s flex point—the locking ankle hooks—allow wearers to have a separate fit configuration from the ankle up.
- Hikers who like to wear waterproof boots might want to go with the Lowa Renegade GTX Mid.
