The Lowa Levante GTX Qc Ws is a well constructed hiking boot that succeeds in being very lightweight at the expense of comfort and stability.
The LOWA Levante GTX’s are a Gear Gals Piece of Recommended Gear.
Updates to Lowa Levante GTX Qc
- The Levante GTX Qc is built with the Monowrap frame—a Lowa-owned technology that offers users more support without weighing them down. Its leather and fabric upper, which is securely tucked under a board lasting with a cemented sole, is imbued with a Gore-Tex membrane for waterproofing.
- Offering cushioning and stability is the DuraPU midsole. It works with the boot’s soft stabilizer in keeping the wearer’s balance as steady as possible. What provides traction over uneven terrain, on the other hand, is the Lowa Multicross Evo outsole. These two components as a unit give the Levante GTX Qc a rockered heel and toe for walking comfort and easier transitions.
Lowa Levante GTX Qc size and fit
A mid-cut and fairly true-to-size day hiking gear for women is the Lowa Levante GTX Qc. It is built for those with standard-width feet. It comes in several whole and half sizes. Its lacing system provides a custom lockdown, while its padded tongue and ankle cuff offer a snug in-shoe fit.
Lowa engineers chose to give the Levante GTX Qc their company-exclusive outsole for traction—the Multicross Evo. This component is crafted with low-profile protrusions (a.k.a. lugs) that can dig in and bite into most types of surfaces. Its toe and heel zones are specially treaded which assist hikers while tackling tricky ascents and slippery descents.
The Lowa Levante GTX Qc aims to steady the wearer’s balance with its DuraPU midsole. It is made of polyurethane, a kind of material that gives midsoles their ability to stay comfy and resilient even when under considerable weight and stress. Its heel and medial zones are extra thick for improved shock absorption.
This boot comes with a Lowa insole called ATC Footbed for extra comfort. Besides bolstering underfoot cushioning, it also provides additional heel support with its cupped rearfoot region.
Most of the Levante GTX Qc’s Monowrap-imbued upper is made of split-grain leather with some of its key zones made of fabric. Its protection from the changing weather and internal heat dispersal capability are all thanks to Gore-Tex’s waterproof yet breathable membrane. Its lacing system comes complete with synthetic laces and a set of combination eyelets.
- Another option for day hikes is the Lowa Renegade GTX Mid.
