A shown love and passion for innovation from a French urbanity, Lacoste was founded by the legendary French tennis enthusiast, Rene Lacoste in the year 1933. The beginning of the establishment of the brand goes back to when an American journalist nicknamed Rene as “The Alligator” after a bet between him and his coach over a crocodile suitcase.
