Good to know

The K-Swiss Court Classico is available in men’s and women’s versions. Men’s models are offered in sizes ranging from 6.5 to 15 while the women’s have sizes which range from 5 to 12. Flat wax laces in classic D-ring loops provide a customizable fit for users. The shoes are reported to be true to size.

These classic-looking kicks ooze subtle sophistication that would upgrade any outfit you choose from simply stylish to fabulous. For women, the shoes look great when paired with A-line dresses; fitted sweaters and shorts; or slim-fitting jeans, a ribbed turtleneck sweater, and a wool jacket. Men can pair these sneakers with chinos and a white sweater for casual occasions. They can also dress these shoes up a bit by pairing them with pants, a crisp shirt, and a blazer.

The K-Swiss Court Classico emphasizes detail and quality construction. These low-top kicks are expertly made from soft and fine leather for a truly elegant look and comfortable feel. Beautiful stitch detailing on the toes add a subtle accent that only serves to draw further attention to the shoes’ very clean and minimalist design.

K-Swiss got its name from the company’s founders, brothers Art and Ernie Brunner who were Swiss nationals who relocated to the U.S. After immigrating to the US, the brothers founded the K-Swiss (Kuenzli-Swiss) business in California in 1966. They were avid tennis players and skiers who decided to combine some elements of the ski cleat to create a supportive court shoe that would be able to handle aggressive side to side movements in tennis playing.

The brand’s first shoes were the Court Classics which were also the first all-leather tennis sneakers. This silhouette quickly gained acclaim worldwide and became true to its name—a classic.

In 2015, the brand worked on a sneaker program that was aimed at producing a modern court collection. This program resulted in a collection of shoes which have the distinct characteristic of being stylish enough to be worn in posh country clubs yet look sassy enough to be worn on the city streets. This line, which was also designed as a tribute to the original Court Classic, featured four models including the Court Classico.

The Court Classico has a clean, streamlined, and court-style sneaker look that would look right at home at even the poshest tennis courts. The uppers are made from beautiful leather, and the shoes are handmade by expert craftsmen in Europe.

  • The K-Swiss Court Classico features non-marking soles, debossed logos on the heels, and heat-branded word mark on the tongues. The shoes are made in Portugal.
