  • The leather upper of the Jordan Super.Fly 4 PO creases easily according to some owners.

Profile of the Jordan Super.Fly 4 PO

The Jordan Super.Fly 4 PO is a follow-up release to the Super.Fly 4. It made its debut in February 2016 with a special Chinese New Year colorway. The shoe comes with a leather upper, a Burrito-style tongue, and a traction pattern that blurs the boundaries between performance and casual use.

Performance

Cushion. The Jordan Super.Fly 4 PO comes with a Phylon midsole carrier with a bottom-loaded Zoom unit at the forefoot. Upon landing, the Phylon midsole acts as a responsive cushion while the Zoom unit absorbs impact and returns energy. The shoe features a midfoot FlightSpeed plate for stability.

Traction. The Jordan Super.Fly 4 PO’s outsole is covered with herringbone except for the lateral side, which features wavy lines. The herringbone pattern provides excellent floor control while the wavy pattern delivers smooth transitions.

Fit

Length and Width. The Jordan Super.Fly 4 PO is designed to have the standard length and width. Most reviewers advise shoppers to pick their true Jordan sizes. There are reports that the shoe needs some break-in time to fit wide-footers. The best option is to fit the shoe in-store before making the purchase.

Lockdown. To keep the foot in place, the midfoot features a burrito-style tongue that wraps the foot from the medial to the lateral side. Lockdown is further ensured by a standard lace-up system.

Material

The upper of the Jordan Super.Fly 4 PO is a combination of durable leather and mesh. The high-wear areas such as the the toe cap have fuse overlays for additional durability.

Style

Whether on the court or off it, the Jordan Super.Fly 4 PO is an absolute stunner. This signature shoe comes in different colorways that allow for a more personalized wear.
