5 reasons to buy

  • Breathable: The translucent textile and zonal perforation on the upper of the Jordan Delta Breathe, akin to the Nike React Element 87, offers smashing ventilation.
  • Homey: Many swear by its exceptional comfort. Users even declare that this is the most comfortable iteration in the Jordan series.
  • Lightweight: Using lighter and sleeker materials, this model weighs significantly less than its predecessor.
  • Bouncy: It feels very springy, just like most Nike Zoom Air kicks.
  • Eye-catching: Its unique translucent upper and extended heel pull tab make this another striking piece in Nike's arsenal

2 reasons not to buy

  • Stiff: With its non-stretchable upper, the feet feel a tad confined. A video reviewer hopes that Nike used Flyknit instead.
  • Roomy: It is a wide-foot friendly sneaker. If you have narrow or regular-width feet, sizing down might do the trick.

Bottom line

The Jordan Delta Breathe is not your typical "one-of-the-retroes" Jordan model. It features a unique deconstructed style making this a solid pair when you want to stand out. It also works as a perfect summer knock-around sneaker as the brand designed it with breathability as its main feature. Jordan nailed it once again by releasing this underrated pair fitting to be a part of your daily rotation.

Jordan Delta Breathe: Breezy treat for the feet

More than producing basketball shoes, the Jordan brand also aims to create utilitarian-inspired sneakers. After releasing the Jordan Proto-Max 720 and Jordan Proto-React, the Jumpman brand now releases the Delta Breathe, a follow-up iteration of the equally famous Jordan Delta.

What sets this sneaker apart?

This well-ventilated kick features several unique elements that will fire up many sneaker fanatics. Here are some of the most exceptional ones:

  • The Delta Breathe is the only Jordan iteration with the Swoosh branding on the side. To make it more appealing, the brand designed it uniquely. The Swoosh threads in and out and passes through a synthetic suede, giving this pair a deconstructed touch.
  • The extended heel is inserted with extra padding and attached with a pull tab to add comfort and ease of putting this pair on.
  • Found on the medial side of the sneaker are the coordinates of Nike's headquarters.
  • On some of its colorways, its laces have a Jordan-typeface to add a subtle yet exciting element.
  • Instead of adding padding internally, this sneaker has cushioning on the tongue's outer side to relieve the foot from pressure from the laces.
