Who is it for? It's no secret that the legendary Michael Jordan shares his love for the sport. This only benefits the golfers and hardcore fans of the athlete as they get to flaunt this masterpiece on the course.

What is new? As the second golf silhouette from Nike's Jordan subbrand, golfers can expect certain revamps:

  • The elephant print remains a consistent style feature, but it is subtlely incorporated on the eyestays and heel.
  • The mesh material is extended all the way to the toebox, unlike the previous version, where it is only utilized in the tongue.
  • The construction of the ADG 2 was rebuilt, integrating an extended heel counter and heel fins for additional stability.

Performance not compromised. At first look, the Jordan ADG may be all about the looks, but that's no reason to be deceived. The Integrated Traction outsole enables this shoe to have a versatile grip for a no-slip bottom.

Cushioned to perfection. Just like Jordan, or any other athlete for that matter, comfort is a non-negotiable in any footwear. The interior of this shoe houses a soft foam that cushions the foot on every step. It is supplemented by a full-length sleeve to enhance its fit.

Jumpman luxury. As with the basketball and lifestyle collection, the Jordan golf reiterations remain consistent in inserting a bit of oomph in its pieces. The plush leather upper that wraps the exterior of the shoe presents durability, stability, and breathability. Certain areas of the shoe are laid out with a mesh to further welcome ventilation.

Not just looks. Being part of the Jordan brand translates that this is no ordinary shoe. The mid-top built is distinctly pulled out from the athlete's basketball roots. In golf, it offers the same benefits of extra stability, especially when blended with the external heel counter.

Style and function. Enveloping this upper is a flexible overlay. This coating serves as waterproof protection to cover different seasons and weather practice.

It is not a revelation that, as with other Jordan shoes, its styling gets inspiration from former silhouettes. Some of the style accents of the 1988 Air Jordan 3 high-top shoes, like the Jumpman logo and cement gray elephant pattern where it was first seen, serve as striking similarities of this model. It was first spotted during the 1987-1988 season. Because of Tinker Hatfield's prowess, this element has been carried out not just on basketball silhouettes but even with this golf shoe.
The shoe's back, precisely the unique shark-like jagged effect, is similar to the Jordan Trunner NXT. Its design holds a unique constriction because the midsole slightly extends. While everything remains consistent with golf's sleek styling, The Jumpman branding is still incorporated on the heel, insole, and tongue.
