The Puma Suede Classic Sock is a men’s shoe offered from size 4 to 15, with half sizes ranging from 4.5 to 12.5, in Medium width. The added knit sock construction hugs the ankle for added support and protection, while the traditional lace-up closure in flat tonal laces offers a snug fit and feel to the foot. On the back part of the sock collar is a discrete loop tab, which helps in easy on/off wearing of the shoe. Considering the Suede Classic’s basketball shoe DNA, this shoe has a pretty decent overall hold and support.

Puma’s Hall of Famer Suede Classic received an unusual makeover through the Puma Suede Classic Sock. As the name suggests, a knit sock construction with a ribbed collar is added to the classic look of the Suede silhouette for a whole new look. The rest of the upper preserves the classic’s suede material and tooling, including the tonal flat laces with dotted details. Released in multiple colorways, the Puma Suede Classic Sock boasts a monochromatic look from upper to the sole unit for a look that suits a wide array of outfit.

The Puma Suede Classic is already a noteworthy shoe as it has always been, but this particular version further steps up the game. The new knit sock construction with a ribbed collar is a game-changer for it adds to the shoe’s overall style, function, and comfort. It results to a new shoe model that has a classic look of the Puma Suede mixed with a modern update.

Other notable features are the textured rubber midsole and a ribbed toe bumper for increased durability, which were borrowed elements from the original Puma Suede silhouette.

Originally released in 1968, the Puma Suede is a shoe that tells stories across generations about fashion and sports beyond its iconic look. It was the shoe worn by Tommie Smith and John Carlos during the 1968 Olympics Black Power salute. It was a favorite by basketball players in the ‘70s, and by b-boys in the ‘80s. It eventually reached the global market, and since then seen on everyone not just on the court, but as part of the hip-hop culture as well. Today, the Puma Suede remains relevant as a then-basketball shoe that made its way into the lifestyle sneakers category.

Over the years, the Puma Suede has been receiving numerous Suede iterations with varying material upgrades and collaborations. The Puma Suede Classic Sock is one of those. Like the original Suede, this version bears the iconic rich suede upper that sits atop a textured midsole with a ribbed toe bumper and rubber outsole. It also has the signature “Puma Suede” emblem and the Puma Formstrip on the sides. The significant difference, however, is the inclusion of a knit sock construction with a ribbed collar for an added oomph and a new look to the classic kick.

  • The Puma Suede Classic Sock features soft textile lining for supplementary in-shoe comfort. The rubber outsole provides great traction.
  • Displayed on the heel is the Puma Jumpman logo. On the side panel is the Puma Suede emblem, while on the bottom part of the heel is the plain Puma text branding.
  • Visible alongside the Puma Formstrip reinforcement on the sides are perforations for breathability.
