The upper, which wraps around the player’s foot, is textured from the heel to the toe. This setup delivers a good touch to the ball, particularly during a speedy play. The collar is also designed to optimize support. 

The outsole contains a Nike Aerotrak zone in the forefoot. The area holds a total of eleven studs. There are seven found in the forefoot and four in the heel area. This configuration works for both natural and artificial grass surfaces.

The Nike Mercurial Superfly 7 Academy Multiple Ground soccer cleat has a traditional lacing system paired with a tongueless design.  This allows the wearer to customize the shoe’s fit as well as reinforce foot lockdown.

The upper of this Nike Mercurial model is created from a soft synthetic material that effectively wraps around the wearer’s foot.
