Good to know

The Inov-8 X-Talon 212 v2 is a trail running shoe offering that is strategically designed for those who have neutral foot motion. It utilizes the latest  STICKYGRIP rubber in the outsole unit. This component of the shoe aims to deliver reliable traction that is needed in tackling challenging terrains.

Along with the  STICKYGRIP rubber outsole is the 8mm aggressive lugs. These lugs are essential in digging into muddy and soft terrains to ensure a firm grip on the ground.

With the utilization of the TPU lacing system, the user enjoys a more secure fit during the running activity. This is essential in ensuring the runner to start and finish the activity with ease and confidence.

Another feature of the shoe that affects the fit is the durable upper. It is described to be breathable and flexible, which allows a more comfortable and enjoyable ride. Compared to the Saucony Triumph ISO 5, which uses the FORMFIT footbed, contoured support to the underfoot is offered.

The STICKYGRIP rubber outsole is integrated into the Inov-8 X-Talon 212 v2. The primary purpose of this is to deliver improved grip during the running session. It boasts an extraordinary amount of traction, both on wet and dry weather conditions. Like the Brooks Transcend 6, rubber is also used in making the outsole of the shoe.

Together with the STICKYGRIP rubber outsole are the aggressive 8-mm lugs. It is engineered to hold into soft and muddy terrains firmly. As a result, confidence-boosting traction is experienced by the user, allowing a faster run.

Featured in this neutral running shoe is the Injected EVA midsole. This is meant to provide excellent underfoot comfort, especially on a steep and rough variety of terrains.

Along with the Injected EVA midsole is the extended rand on the upper area. This component of the trail running shoe is essential in protecting the foot against the debris that can be found on the trails. It is also focused on improving the durability of the platform.

Used in crafting the running footwear is the durable and protective upper. This material is meant to deliver comfort and breathability during the running activity. This is significant in complementing the natural movement of the foot to increase agility and speed.

The Inov-8 X-Talon 212 v2 uses the TPU lacing system. Inov-8 added this feature to provide additional support and secure fit during the running session. This system adds to the more stable and structured feel of the shoe.
