Updates to Icebug Oribi 2 BUGrip
- A lightweight shoe designed for trail running, the Icebug Oribi 2 BUGrip features a durable and protective design. The shoe is equipped with reliable technologies and materials for the runners to survive the toughest terrain.
- The Oribi 2 BUGrip has a water-repellent upper which keeps the foot dry even on a slightly rainy running condition. It is lightweight and smooth enough to give the foot a comfortable in-shoe wrap.
- For a responsive and soft cushioning, the Icebug Oribi 2 BUGrip makes use of a lightweight molded EVA foam. The EVA delivers long-lasting underfoot protection without affecting flexibility.
- The BUGrip outsole features the 14 carbide tip studs which offer reliable grip over slippery and icy running surfaces. The tip studs do not affect the shoe’s flexibility and cushioning.
Icebug Oribi 2 BUGrip size and fit
Built with medium last, the Icebug Oribi 2 BUGrip offers a comfortable fit for medium-footed runners. The shoe runs true to size and is offered in standard medium width for both men’s and women’s version.
The Icebug Oribi 2 BUGrip features the BUGrip outsole. It is made up of a rubber material which aims to deliver reliable traction over technical terrains. It also gives durability to high-wear areas.
For maximum grip and security, 14 carbide tip studs are placed in the outer sole. There are nine studs on the forefoot and five studs on the heel. These studs are meant to perform well on ice and slippery running surfaces.
In the midsole is a lightweight EVA foam which gives reliable underfoot cushioning, especially on technical terrains. The midsole foam delivers long-lasting responsiveness, miles after miles.
Placed in between the midsole and outsole is the TPU Rock Shield. It offers reliable underfoot protection against sharp trail objects without affecting flexibility.
The shoe has a removable molded EVA sock liner and a mesh lining for additional underfoot protection and in-shoe comfort.
Bluesign® Polyester mesh covers the upper of the Icebug Oribi 2 BUGrip. The upper of the shoe is water-repellent, and it remains to be lightweight and breathable at the same time.
In the upper is also the Welded TPU mudguard. It is lightweight in nature and is designed to give the foot a reliable shield against mud and dirt.
The shoe has a traditional lace-up closure to keep the foot in place. It also has a lightly padded tongue for sock-like comfort.
