Updates to Hoka One One Tor Trafa
- The Tor Trafa is an outdoor sandal designed for summer adventures. It combines full-grain nubuck leather and neoprene bootie in the upper for a soft fit.
- Stability is delivered by the brand’s proprietary RMAT midsole. The material is made durable, especially in areas prone to wear. Part of the midsole unit is an EVA footbed that grants cushioning.
- The Tor Trafa outsole is powered by Vibram’s Megagrip. This outsole balances durability and stability so that users can handle the demands of outdoor trails.
Hoka One One Tor Trafa size and fit
The Hoka One One Tor Trafa is a closed-toe sandal exclusively made for men. It is available in standard length and medium width. It generally runs true to size. A speed-lace closure allows fit customization. Its Neoprene Frame delivers an adaptive fit.
Hoka One One Tor Trafa’s Vibram Megagrip Hi-Traction grips on various terrain types. Its 4 mm lugs bite into the surface to deliver traction. It has flex grooves which allow the user to adapt to uneven surfaces.
The Hoka One One Tor Trafa midsole unit consists of an EVA footbed that rests on top of the proprietary RMAT midsole. The beefy and cushy footbed is designed with a form that keeps the foot secured by allowing it to be nested and cradled (unlike typical sandals where the foot merely sits atop).
The RMAT frame is made of blended rubber EVA. It grants support and stability to the user. It is highly elastic, so it displays greater levels of bounce than typical foams, the brand claims. This component also has resilience and durability that could resist constant pounding.
The upper of Hoka One One Tor Trafa is made of durable full-grain nubuck leather with a neoprene booty that offers protection with cushy a feeling that hugs the foot. Furthermore, the neoprene frame manages moisture to keep the foot as dry as possible.
Strategic cutaways on the sides and heel enhance torsional flexibility and promote ventilation. A bungee lacing system and pull loops make it easy to cinch down. It also features a rubber toe cap to shield the toes when accidentally knocked on an on-trail obstacle.
