Stiff. Employing nylon injected outsoles, the Giro Riela R II provides adequate rigidity for power transfer. This helps the rider not waste any energy in every pedal stroke.
Grip. Full-length rubber lugs cover the outsole for traction in slippery surfaces. If the trails are extra tricky, additional toe spike slots are also provided. The owner can purchase toe spikes and install them in the grooves for enhanced traction.
