Who should buy the Fizik Aria R3
The Fizik Aria R3 is a road bike shoe that’s designed to meet the demands of cycling in all types of paved roads. It is a solid option if you:
- Need a shoe that has seamless burrito-like upper design, rubbing and pressure points are prevented.
- Need a shoe that has an unidirectional full carbon sole provides maximum rigidity for optimal power transfer without being uncomfortable.
- Need a shoe that has an excellent ventilation and ensures a fresh ride.
Unidirectional full carbon outsoles
Armed with unidirectional full carbon outsoles, this road bike shoe guarantees that every watt of power you exert is translated onto the bike and your performance. The lateral stiffness contributes to the overall seamless connection to your bike.
Excellent ventilation and replaceable heel pads
To ensure the whole foot is fresh throughout the ride, ventilation holes are placed along the sole. These pockets work in conjunction with the upper’s perforated material.
In road shoes, the rear traction pads are the ones that wear out first. With the Fizik Aria R3’s renewable heel rubber pads, the grip could be refreshed and more extended use out of the footwear can be enjoyed.
Fizik Aria R3's cleat system
This Fizik road shoe employs a 3-hole cleat system. It is compatible with the following road pedals: Shimano 105 R7000 SPD SL, Speedplay Zero Chromoly and Look Keo 2 Max. Markings are also displayed in the cleat area for precise cleat adjustment.
Sleek and durable design
A streamlined silhouette crafted from seamless, laser-perforated Microtex material, the Fizik Aria R3 ensures a supportive and comfortable feel. The upper material can also withstand scuffs and is easy to clean.
Highly adjustable and precise fit
The customization of fit is provided by two BOA IP1-B dials. This closure system is composed of the dials along with light steel-coated nylon laces that run throughout the wrap-like upper.
The dials can be wound in increments to tighten the fit while pulling it outwards provides an instant release function.
