Who is it for? The Five Ten Trailcross LT is marketed as a lightweight cycling and hiking shoe. It is a pair for individuals who love to explore both roads and trails. Riders who value the following features should check this footwear out:

  • Versatile footgear that could be used for hiking and cycling
  • A shoe with good drainage and breathability as well as quick drying
  • Lightweight
  • Stylish

What is it for? This hybrid bike shoe can cater to a lot of outdoor activities, such as the following:

  • Summer hike-a-bike adventures
  • Touring
  • Light mountain cycling
  • Trails with river crossings
  • Urban commutes

Cushioning without compromising. The Five Ten Trailcross LT features Adidas shoes' classic trail-running midsole, which is designed with a thinned out portion where the pedal and shoe come in contact. This provides excellent pedal feel and less bounce from pedal vibrations.

The rest of the sole is well-cushioned for a comfortable off-bike experience.

Grip. The outsole is crafted from Five Ten's Stealth Phantom rubber compound. It yields high traction to keep the foot planted on the pedals and keep the wearer upright in slippery surfaces.

Working in conjunction with the Stealth Phantom rubber is 5.10's Dotty tread pattern in the middle area.

The Five Ten Trailcross LT employs a flat outsole. The following flat MTB pedals work well with this pair: Deity Components TMAC, Race Face Atlas and Spank Spike.

Quick drying and breathable. The shoe's upper is crafted from mesh, providing excellent ventilation and fast drying that's ideal for midsummer and rainy adventures.

Protection. TPU material covers toe areas to protect toes from rock strikes and bumps. Moreover, the shoe's raised ankle provides added protection from the elements.

Drainage. Another feature that makes river crossings possible is two flex points on the medial side of the shoe. These two points act as drain ports to allow water to flow out of the shoe. The shoe might not protect the foot from getting wet but soggy uncomfortable shoe for the rest of the trip is prevented.

Lockdown. The Five Ten Trailcross LT uses the traditional lace-up closure to keep the foot in place. It also prevents possible breakage of hardware in the trail.

Lace lock. A lace loop is provided to stow the laces away from getting tangled in the bike's drivetrain.
