If you want as little material as possible between your toe and the rock, this is the shoe to get.
The Five Ten Anasazi LV combines all of the fantastic features of the Anasazi line of shoes with a small foot-specific design.
These shoes offer solid power and confident climbing, all with the added benefit of comfort.
In short, the Anasazi LV is an extremely comfortable, all-around shoe.
Regardless of the size I chose, the shoe is still a very good shoe.
-The Five Ten Anasazi LV is engineered for climbing enthusiasts who need a combination of support, comfort, and performance in a low-volume shoe. It is one of Five Ten’s vegan-friendly footwear products. The shoe’s company-exclusive outsole gives enough grip on a variety of surfaces.
Downturn. The Anasazi LV from 5.10 is a moderately down-cambered climbing shoe. This downturn type offers technical climbing performance on multi-pitch ascents.
Applications. This Five Ten piece may be used for bouldering as well as sport and trad climbing. It is both an indoor and outdoor climbing shoe.
The Five Ten Anasazi LV is a low-top climbing shoe for women. Its fit is targeted at users with narrow-width feet. The synthetic liner of its upper promises no stretch. Climbers may personalize its fit via the shoe’s Velcro closure. Its asymmetric shape and contoured heel cup deliver enhanced edging capabilities.
Midsole. The Anasazi LV gets to provide wearers with sufficient underfoot support thanks to its long-wearing midsole. It gives the shoe enhanced structural integrity with its medium stiffness.
Outsole. This Five Ten rock climbing shoe uses the Stealth C4 outsole in granting enough surface traction on virtually all kinds of terrain. This rubber component is designed specifically for smearing and edging. It has a thickness of 4.2 millimeters.
The Five Ten Anasazi LV’s upper is made mostly of polyester. It has a no-stretch synthetic liner. The shoe’s protective rand serves two purposes: to resist abrasions and to provide extra footing security. 5.10 designers opted to engineer the heel rand with a higher tension than usual, giving owners a snug fit around the heel region.
The fit management system of the Anasazi LV is made up of two adjustable straps. Both of these straps are built with hook-and-loop fasteners. A pair of pull loops complete the upper’s equation.
The Anasazi LV is not exempt from being compared with other kicks under the Five Ten climbing category. One of these shoes is the Anasazi Pro. The following points will shed some light on their differences:
Rigidity. Although both footwear products are built for moderate climbing endeavors, the Anasazi Pro is stiffer than the Anasazi LV.
Weight. The featured shoe is lighter than the Anasazi Pro (women’s) by about 40 grams.
Target gender. The 5.10 Anasazi LV is ideally for the female crowd only, while the competition caters to both genders.
