Extremely popular sneakers because of their price range, versatility when it comes to style, and freedom of movement. Almost everyone is guaranteed to have low-top sneakers in their shoe rotation.
Mid-top sneakers extend toward the ankle for a little more support and hold. These lie somewhere in the middle between low-top and high-top sneakers in terms of usage and popularity.
Sneakers with collars that go above the ankles for optimal hold and support are some of the most sought-after models in lifestyle shoes. Most of these shoes take their roots from basketball and have easily or fashionably crossed to mainstream wear.

Still retaining a few of their performance-based technologies, these sneakers have transcended their respective niches and have successfully and popularly transformed themselves as staples of fashion footwear.

Etnies RVM History
Launched in 1986, Etnies was once among the emerging brands of skate shoes in France. Inspired from the word Ethnic, the brand was initially called Etnics as an affirmation to the skate culture. Later it was changed to Etnies due to some legal concerns. Later on, a former professional skateboarder, in the name of Pierre André Sénizergues, acquired the company in 1989.
He merged it along with other brands such as eS, Emerica and ThirtyTwo under the conglomerate of Sole Technology Inc. Under Sénizergues’ leadership, the brand continues to create and release different revolutionary shoes that are appreciated by BMXers, skateboarders and other brand patrons. Apart from footwear, Etnies also offers a collection of accessories and apparel for men and women.
Among the shoes that the brand offers today is the Etnies RVM. This sneaker has the perfect blend of comfort and aesthetic appeal by which people can grab at a budget-friendly rate. Inspired by the skate heritage, it features the Etnies Rap design. The toe area is triple stitched while the heel is reinforced, allowing for more protection and stability as users perform some cool tricks.
Etnies RVM Style
The Etnies RVM has a classic and mid-top silhouette that provides ankle stability and protection. It is designed with a lace-up closure system to ensure a secure lockdown. This fashion-trend sneaker can match various casual clothing and street-style outfits. Enjoy comfort and stay in style as you wear it with tracker pants, joggers or shorts for a sporty look. It also goes well with jeans and shirts, exuding a laidback look.
Fit & sizing
The Etnies RVM is available in men’s sizing ranges from 5 to 14 US. With a combination of canvas and synthetic nubuck materials, the upper allows sufficient air circulation. The toe area also has perforations for added ventilation. With the STI Foam Lite 2, the die-cut EVA footbed ensures impact protection and comfort. It has a mesh lining to give a next-to-skin feel. For enhanced and reliable grip, the shoe utilizes vulcanized wrap cup rubber outsoles.
The mid-top Etnies RVM is what BMXers and skateboarders need to have a steady grip. Made from 400 NBS rubber, the vulcanized outsole with a herringbone tread pattern provides not only flexibility but also a sure-footed grip needed to execute some BMX exhibitions as well as fantastic Ollie and other skateboarding tricks.
