Facts

  • The Skechers Elite Flex - Ibache is a shoe designed for daily training and walking. It builds on the success of the previous models by incorporating the Elite Flex midsole like the Skechers Elite Flex - Hartnell. As the name suggests, this compound is created to be flexible to accommodate the natural bending of the foot.
  • The upper unit receives a total revamp compared to the original version. It employs a seamless Skech Knit Mesh upper which is comprised of a soft woven material. The upper features a fusion of open and tightly-woven mesh panels for breathable support.
  • The shoe also ditched the bungee laces in favor of the flat ones. However, the mechanism of the lacing system still works the same way: it renders permanent support and cannot be adjusted.
  • A pull-tab is added at the back collar. It contributes to the slip-on design of the footwear by ensuring smooth on-and-off wear.

The Skechers Elite Flex - Ibache was designed with a man’s foot in mind. It is offered in US sizes 6.5 to 14 and in a D - Medium width profile. The Skech Knit Mesh upper is engineered to be snug but stretchable to support the foot yet expand when needed.

A rubber outsole protects the bottom of the Skechers Elite Flex - Ibache. It features an articulated traction pattern with horizontal flex grooves. They make sure that the sole is pliable enough to accommodate foot movements during a workout session or a walk.

This pair of Skechers workout shoes employs the Elite Flex midsole. Made of the EVA foam, it has a responsive nature which attenuates shock and cushions the foot. It works together with the outsole to provide a supportive yet flexible platform.

Resting on top of the midsole is the Air Cooled Memory Foam insole. It molds to take the shape of the wearer’s foot for supreme comfort and extra padding. It also serves to keep the foot chamber dry and aerated.

The Skechers Elite Flex - Ibache utilizes a nearly seamless upper made of a woven fabric. This material hugs the foot in a soft and supportive way but is also ready to expand when the foot needs it. The upper has two types of mesh panels: the ones with an open construction for a cooling effect and the tightly woven ones for lateral stability.

The shoe has a slip-on design. Even though a lace-up closure is present on the instep, it cannot be used to adjust the fit. Its elastic flat laces keep the foot in place but can easily stretch when the footwear is put on or removed. The pull tab at the back also assists in that process.

The tongue is not separate from the rest of the upper. This construction renders a secure and sock-like fit to the wearer. Both the tongue and the collar are padded for extra comfort and support.
