Facts

  • Built for movement in and out of the ring, the Puma Jaab XT sports a design that emanates speed and strength. Inspired by boxing, this trainer is ready to accommodate fast, multi-directional movements associated with this sport. The slip-on style facilitates a quick on-off action while the lacing system allows users to tighten the fit for better lateral support.
  • The midsole is made of the PROFOAM technology which is lightweight and responsive. There’s also a hybrid drop-in sockliner that heightens the shock absorption of the midsole unit and better supports the foot. Covering the bottom is a rubber outsole that increases the durability of the sole unit and adds traction to the underside.

This Puma training shoe caters to both male and female athletes. For men, it comes in US sizes 7 to 14 and 5.5 to 11 for women, including half and full sizes in between for both. As for the width, it is available in a medium profile, which is D for gentlemen and B for ladies. The upper is designed to fit like a sock while the lacing system enhances the snugness at the midfoot.

The Puma Jaab XT employs a rubber outsole crafted to provide multidirectional traction inside and outside the ring. This compound protects the underlying layer against early deterioration. It also has a rubber wrap-up that enhances the grip.

The PROFOAM technology makes up the midsole of this workout footwear. This lightweight and responsive platform is crafted from ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA) foam. It cushions impact and quickly bounces back to its original form to use that energy for a push-off.

Inside the trainer is a hybrid drop-in insole. This element uses two Puma cushioning technologies, the NRGY beads and the IGNITE foam to deliver superior underfoot cushioning while also preventing slippage.

Holding the foot in place is the flexible knit upper. This type of fabric supports the natural expansion of the foot during workouts and it is breathable which helps keep the interior ventilated.

Synthetic overlays reinforce high-wear areas like the eyestay and the heel. They protect the underlying fabric while also adding structure.

The slip-on cleatie style makes for a quick on-off action. The lacing system at the midfoot helps users to tighten the fit if desired.

The men’s and women’s versions differ in style. The men’s version uses thick straps on the sides and rearfoot sections while the women’s version utilizes thinner interlaced straps to deliver the same support. The straps integrate with the lace-up structure which aims to enhance lateral and heel support.
