Facts

  • Taking its cue from the New York City ballet, the Puma Fierce En Pointe features a silhouette that is reminiscent of ballet shoes. It marries style and function. It is built to look good for everyday wear but could also perform well during intense workout sessions.
  • The upper is made of mesh which ensures that the inside is ventilated. A wide synthetic overlay locks the midfoot and enhances the lateral support.
  • Like the other models in the Puma Fierce line, this footgear uses the injection molded ethylene-vinyl acetate (IMEVA) foam for the midsole. This platform is soft, durable and responsive to keep the foot comfortable at all times. It also has the same rubber pods protecting the underside of the trainer.

The Puma Fierce En Pointe follows the standard measurement scheme of women’s shoes. It is available in US sizes 5.5 to 11. It comes in a B - Medium width profile. The cleatie construction of the footwear is designed to provide a snug fit while the cage overlay aims to lock the foot down.

The outsole of the Puma Fierce En Pointe is made of rubber pods. This durable compound endures friction and imparts traction on most surfaces.

Under the big toe is a pivot point. This section assists wearers in performing smooth twists and turns without stressing the knee.

The IMEVA foam midsole lends a soft but stable cushioning to the Puma Fierce En Pointe. It is engineered to be responsive to propel the foot forward, preparing it for the next step. It is also soft to attenuate shock and prevent injuries or discomfort.

The midsole is crafted to be taller at the heel area. The extended pieces wrap the medial and lateral sides of the rearfoot to steady it during side-to-side movements.

This Puma trainer sports a demi-cut profile. The cleatie construction makes it easy to put on especially with the help of the pull tabs on the tongue and the collar. The tongue and the collar are both lightly padded to amplify the comfort offered by the footwear.

The upper is made of mesh. This lightweight material is constructed to deliver a snug fit. It is also breathable and keeps the foot chamber aerated.

This model lacks laces or straps but it does feature a cage-like structure at the midfoot. This element utilizes synthetic leather and an elastic band to lock the foot in place and heighten the lateral stability of the upper. The synthetic leather has a metallic sheen to it which adds to the aesthetics of the footgear.
