Notable Features

The Wino Cruiser from Emerica is among the skate shoes that have a low-profile design and sleek upper that offers excellent board feel and lightweight experience. Also, it has a rubber toe bumper that provides extra protection to users as they perform their flips and tricks.

Emerica Wino Cruiser History

Emerica was founded by Pierre Sénizergues in 1996. It is part of the conglomerate, along with Etnies and eS, and a subsidiary of the Sole Technology, Inc. Are you wondering where the name of the brand came from? It is the portmanteau of Etnies and America. Quite interesting, right?

At first, all Etnies footwear that was sold in the Fall of 1995 was shipped out as Emerica shoes in 1996 of Spring. If we compare Emerica to Etnies, Emerica shoes are recognized as rawer, more uncomplicated, and straight-ahead.

One of the straightforward Emerica sneakers is the Wino Cruiser. With a low-profile design, this version is the improved version of the original design. It has a new restructured and sleeker profile. Also, it has a new rubber toe bumper for a better experience of ollies and tricks.

Although it is a skate shoe, it is not really designed for high performance. It focuses on cruising and will not hold against the traditional abuse of everyday skateboarding activities. Since it has a sleek profile, it gives way for an excellent board feel. Also, it has an outsole with the triangle tread bottom for excellent traction and durability.
