-The ergonomic InsoFit Pro footbed ensures a supportive and comfortable stride all day long.

The Severson Hiker is a mid-top boot with an upper made of full-grain leather and fabric. Thus, it has the ability to take on the shape of the foot, giving the wearer a precise fit. With a shaft measuring more than 9 inches, it provides full coverage for the ankle. Nonetheless, there is a soft fabric padding so the boot doesn’t feel too tight or restrictive.

The outsole is made of high-quality rubber that is resilient to wear and tear. The deep segmentation around the forefoot area and throughout the edges of the outsole contribute to its traction. In the center part are more aggressive lugs for added grip.

Furthermore, the Severson Hiker’s outsole is non-marking which means it can be worn indoors. This makes it a good choice for casual activities in the city or a reliable winter boot that can be worn in the office.

The ergonomic midsole of this boot is designed to give the wearer a comfortable and supportive hiking experience. Like most other Eddie Bauer outdoor boots, the Severson Hiker is made of lightweight EVA that has several desirable qualities. These include responsiveness, impact reduction, and cushioning.

For added comfort, the boot comes with an InsoFit® Pro insole which features stabilizing heel cup and superior forefoot support.

This boot features a full-grain leather upper which has superior water-repelling properties. It has a classy design and is available in Neutral and Timber colorways. There is fabric on the side portions for some breathability.

The  Severson Hiker features a double latex seam-sealed construction for waterproofing. This means that sections of the waterproof leather are taped together to fit the interior of the boot perfectly.
