The sneaker’s low-top cut gives freedom for the ankle plus the oiled Nubuck upper offers a soft feel. The outsole, composed of soft rubber, provides grip and traction plus the Receptor® technology for flexibility. The Ecco Urban Lifestyle Low comes in men’s sizes stretching from 6/6.5 to 14/14.5 US. For a custom fit, the shoe offers a full lace-up closer.

Ecco Urban Lifestyle Low Style

The Ecco Urban Lifestyle Low is versatile when it comes to fashion and function. It is not that shoe which gets left behind in the shoe rack and eventually covered with dust and cobwebs. The sneaker is always hungry for attention and adventure that range from rural to urban environments.

The shoe is ideal for busy men with an active lifestyle. It is perfect for rugged concrete or terrains as it has a flexible rubber outsole that can withstand wear and tear. The thin yak leather upper is strong and breathable. It also provides a sophisticated look that can be worn over jeans, slacks, and shorts. It may be used for a dress up or down kind of event.

On a practical aspect, the sneaker may be worn to almost any type of activity plus it is easy to clean. It may lean more on the expensive side but the satisfaction it offers to its users is noteworthy.

Notable Features

With a never-ending quest for excellence, Ecco was able to come up with the Urban Lifestyle Low which is a quality shoe that makes one walk in style and comfort. Although the sneaker has already covered all the needs of a user, Ecco was able to add one more superb feature. The brand put the direct-injected PU foam (Eccp Fluidform Technology) which absorbs shock or impact during walking. It offers long-lasting cushioning and comfort. The sole is also foot-sculpted providing a light and natural fit.

Ecco Urban Lifestyle Low History

The Ecco Urban Lifestyle Low has a minimalistic silhouette that has proven its excellence over the years. Leather, its main component dates back to 1963, when Ecco was just starting out. Karl Toosbuy, a passionate shoemaker, was trained well during his early years. He gave up his job to build his own business.

Karl, together with his wife and daughter moved to a tiny house in Bredebro, Denmark and used an old factory within the farm. He was able to innovate what he learned and applied the advanced design and technology to his crafts. His brand then became popular across Scandinavian markets and further exported to Sweden, Finland, and Norway.

During the 1980s, Karl was able to expand and build more facilities in Portugal and as far as Indonesia and Thailand. Fast forward to 2002; his brand was able to open new tannery units in Holland and China by 2008. With his quest for success, Karl was able to create and inspire shoe collections that boast of premium leather. And the Ecco Urban Lifestyle Low is only one of his goals that offer comfort, elegance, and function.
