Extremely popular sneakers because of their price range, versatility when it comes to style, and freedom of movement. Almost everyone is guaranteed to have low-top sneakers in their shoe rotation.
Mid-top sneakers extend toward the ankle for a little more support and hold. These lie somewhere in the middle between low-top and high-top sneakers in terms of usage and popularity.
Sneakers with collars that go above the ankles for optimal hold and support are some of the most sought-after models in lifestyle shoes. Most of these shoes take their roots from basketball and have easily or fashionably crossed to mainstream wear.

Ecco Urban Lifestyle Low History
The Ecco Urban Lifestyle Low has a minimalistic silhouette that has proven its excellence over the years. Leather, its main component dates back to 1963, when Ecco was just starting out. Karl Toosbuy, a passionate shoemaker, was trained well during his early years. He gave up his job to build his own business.
Karl, together with his wife and daughter moved to a tiny house in Bredebro, Denmark and used an old factory within the farm. He was able to innovate what he learned and applied the advanced design and technology to his crafts. His brand then became popular across Scandinavian markets and further exported to Sweden, Finland, and Norway.
During the 1980s, Karl was able to expand and build more facilities in Portugal and as far as Indonesia and Thailand. Fast forward to 2002; his brand was able to open new tannery units in Holland and China by 2008. With his quest for success, Karl was able to create and inspire shoe collections that boast of premium leather. And the Ecco Urban Lifestyle Low is only one of his goals that offer comfort, elegance, and function.
- The shoe has a Hydromax treatment on its leather upper which makes it resistant to water.
- It has a Gore-Tex membrane that is waterproof and at the same time, permeable for water vapor. Feet are kept dry and comfortable inside these shoes.
