Size and fit

The ST.1 from Ecco is offered in men and women's versions. Fashioned with a soft, foot-conforming leather upper, the foot is housed in place with every stride of the wearer.

Similar to most lace up sneakers, the Ecco ST.1 permits a customizable envelopment around the contours of the foot. On the other hand, the minimally padded footbed of the shoe accentuates support and plushness.

Ecco ST.1 Style

Dressy casual with a touch of athleisure vibes is what the Ecco ST.1 exhibits. It is available in various colorways such as grey, black, and tarmac for versatile wear and function. Graced with minimalism, the kick is perfect for multiple activities, may it be for dressing up or down.

Given the features of the sneaker, men can easily match it with a pair of jeans or khaki pants along with a short-sleeved or button-up shirt. For women, skirts and jeans can suit the kick for a laidback and refined look.

Notable Features

Integrated into the midsole of the Ecco ST.1 is Fluidform technology that provides lasting anatomical support. It also serves as a light and cloud-like cushioning to the underfoot for all-day comfort.

Part of the sole configuration of the lace-up kick is the brand's Ecco Shock Thru innovation. It boosts the rebounding attributes and shock absorption of the shoe for maximum energy return and protection.

Ecco ST.1 History

A Danish shoe manufacturing and retailing company, Ecco was founded by Karl Toosbuy in 1963. The footwear initially focused solely on producing shoes until it decided to branch out into other offerings such as leathers and accessories.

During the 1980s, the brand started to stretch its operations internationally. By the year 1982, the company's sales reached 1 million pairs of shoes annually, leading to its plant expansion in Portugal, Japan, and Cyprus. This move was a response to the rapid growth of the demand from the market, thanks to the Ecco footwear's reputable quality and components.

To better its technologies and products, Ecco built its own research and development facility in Denmark, which was called, "Futura." To this day, the company continues to thrive in the industry by supplying top-notch and exceptional sneakers.

One of the renowned kick lineups from Ecco is its ST.1 series. Backed with a design principle of "comfort evolved," this collection delivers optimal cushioning, responsiveness, and durability, coupled with innovative features. As part of the collection, Ecco ST.1 represents all the expected elements of an ST.1 sneaker, topped with a very stylish exterior.
