Ecco Soft 7 Zip History

Karl Toosbuy, a trained shoemaker at an early age, founded the Danish brand Ecco in 1963. He and his wife Birte organized a team and started making shoes in a small building factory. The Toosbuys and their team experienced several problems back when they were starting, to the point that they almost gave up.

They initially created shoes that were limited only for women under the Venus brand. They worked very hard to succeed. It was in the late 1970s that Ecco reached its first breakthrough when Designer Ejnar Truelsen created the model named “Joke” which pioneered other successful sneakers. In 1974, Ecco was able to open up and expand its business internationally. Currently, Ecco has its own tanneries located in the Netherlands, China, Indonesia, and Thailand while its factories are in Vietnam, Portugal, Slovakia, Thailand, Indonesia, and China.

The Ecco Soft 7 Zip is among the innovative and comfortable shoes that the brand launched in the market. Released in 2017, this shoe has a versatile zip styling silhouette that can match a variety of casual and everyday outfits. This sneaker has a stylish profile with a comfortable fit that most people are searching for.
