Generally, fits true to size, the Ecco Soft 7 Woven Tie has a low-top silhouette that offers adequate ankle mobility. It is a unisex shoe which is available in men’s sizing ranges from 5 to 16.5 while 4 to 12.5 for women in medium width. To expand the width, it has a removable inlay insole. 

The woven silhouette is made of leather uppers that offer sufficient breathability. The shoe utilizes the ECCO FLUIDFORM™ technology for cushioning and impact resistance. It has an indulgent look of the leather lining that gives an added comfort.

Ecco Soft 7 Woven Tie History

Obsessed with the shoes since he was a kid, Karl Toosbury founded Ecco in Denmark in 1963. At a young age, he already had his training in shoemaking and started to dream of having his own company. Before founding the company, Toosbury had a secure job but gave it up as well as sold his car and house and decided to move to the countryside to fulfill his dream.  

Together with his wife, Toosbury organized a team and began manufacturing shoes under the principle that the shoe ought to fit the foot and not the other way around. Like other small starting businesses, Toosbury and his team encountered several failures and started to almost gave up. They worked hard and persevere to succeed. They almost back down and doubted themselves if they were going to pull it off.  

At last in the late 1970s, the company achieved its first breakthrough when they launched the shoe known as “Joke.” Eventually, Ecco’s innovative shoes had been launched in the market in a myriad of colorways. As the brand continuously pursue to provide comfortable walking shoes for everyone, it has become a staple for durable and quality footwear. Currently, Ecco owns and operates its factories throughout the Asia and Europe.  

The Ecco Soft 7 Woven Tie has a modern silhouette styled with weaving on the sides of the upper that radiate with sophistication.
