Ecco Soft 7 High Top Tie History

Karl Toosbuy founded the Ecco brand in Denmark in 1963. He was a trained shoemaker even at an early age. He had a stable job as a manager in a shoe factory in Copenhagen but decided to let it go to fulfill his dream. He sold his house and moved in Bredebro with his 5-year old daughter and wife Birte and rented a small house.

The Toosbuy couple formed a small team and began the shoe production in a small factory building. Initially, they manufactured shoes limited to ladies under the Venus brand. They had a tough start in the business. The Toosbuys and their team toiled for long hours and encountered several drawbacks. They also gave up and wondered if they would ever succeed or not.

At last, the company’s first breakthrough dawned upon them when the Ecco’s designer Ejnar Truelsen made the shoe named “Joke” in the 1970s. Currently, Ecco continues to launch a series of revolutionary shoes as it also adheres to its principle of bringing footwear that will fit its customers’ feet and not the other way around. Ecco’s anatomical shoes are among the staples of comfort and style that are appreciated by men and women, old and young alike. With own factories and tanneries located all throughout Asia and Europe, Ecco maintains and ensures their products quality.

Part of the Soft Collection, the Ecco Soft 7 High Top is among the innovative footwear that provides comfort in every step. It also has a contemporary silhouette that allows users to have an on-point style as they match it with a variety of clothing. This comfortable and fashionable shoe is made from soft and luxurious leather material, keeping feet fresh and relaxed.
