With its unique Freedom Fit structure, the Ecco Soft 7 High Top and other shoes by the brand has enough space in the front that grants the toes to move or wriggle freely especially during walking or running. This cleat sneaker is generously padded all the way to the high upper offering adequate cushioning underneath the foot and protection around the ankle region. Users may sport and flaunt this shoe immediately out of the box as it is constructed with a super soft leather body; it even stretches the longer one uses it. This sneaker is available in sizes that range from 4 to 12.5 US and 5 to 14.5 US in women’s and men’s respectively.

Ecco’s Soft 7 High Top is a vintage-appearing fashion sneaker that does not fall short in delivering comfort, stability, and flexibility. It’s a comfortable transitional shoe for seasonal rotation or when you feel like strapping your feet with a cleat sneaker. Although entirely wrapped in full-grain leather that gives it a sophisticated look, the Ecco Soft 7 High Top delivers a hint of athletic influence with its sturdy and long-lasting rubber outsole. Appearing in several colorways, this sneaker creates a warm contrast with slim-fitted pants, leggings, capris, straight pants, chinos, and jeans.

Ecco displays its expertise in crafting and tanning leather with its release of the Ecco Soft 7 High Top. Covered with full grain, extra soft leather and rich suede which makes it appear like a contemporary version of vintage ball shoes, this sneaker is brimming with style and comfort. It may seem to be a tiny detail, but its leather laces is a significant factor that gives this sneaker an elite look.

Apart from a façade that’s water resistant and gets even softer over time, Ecco provides a comfortable environment for the feet with the addition of a smooth leather lined walls and a removable inlay sole made of Ecco Comfort Fibre System that wicks moisture. This is complemented by a hard-wearing outsole that has the right amount of traction and degree of flexibility.

Ecco Soft 7 High Top is a reflection of the brand’s rich cultural heritage that’s centered on high-quality artistry, quest for excellence, and pursuit for uniqueness.

Ecco, with roots from Bredebro, Denmark where it still maintains its present headquarters, is known today as one of the leading ten shoemakers around the globe that has been manufacturing shoes with unrivaled comfort. Although it is impossible to quantify comfort, Ecco’s market status would define its global appeal to consumers.

The modest beginnings of Ecco started from Karl Toosbuy’s simple dream, which is to have his own shoe factory business. He was already involved in shoemaking as a young boy, and his passion for the craft pushed him to take more significant steps such as overseeing the production of a shoe factory in Copenhagen.

His vision drove him to give up his house and car and strike out his own shoemaking business in the rural side of Denmark along with his wife Birte and daughter Hanni, who now takes full leadership of the family-owned brand. An empty warehouse in the middle of a farmland in Bredebro became the first factory of Ecco in 1963.

The initial production centered on ladies footwear under the Venus label. The long hours of hard work and perseverance led to Karl’s first big hit shoe named “Joke” in 1978, which placed them him and his business on the map as a maker of comfortable, top-notch sneaker.  This was followed by the releases of other classic sneakers such as “Free” and “Time.”

Since the beginning, Karl’s mission was to produce comfortable and functional shoes that can fit the foot. Such simple idea was the start of what would later become a globally recognized footwear brand with shoe factories expanding from Denmark to Poland, Portugal, Brazil, Thailand, Indonesia, and China.

Today, this privately held Danish company is still a family-owned enterprise, which is the only shoe manufacturer in the entire world that still manages every aspect of its supply chain from the operation of its own tanneries and production facilities to wholesale and retail activities.

  • The Ecco Soft 7 High Top is assembled with double stitches that strengthen the upper’s high wear areas.
  • The Direct Injected, two component PU/TPU outsole keeps this shoe stable and flexible even when walking on rough grounds.
  • It utilizes a full anatomical shaped last to deliver an incredibly relaxed fit.
  • The Ecco Soft 7 Quilted High is another variation of this shoe. Its high upper is quilted while the vamp is covered with patent leather.
