- Equipped with a PU foam midsole and the Receptor Lite technology, this hiking gear yields a cushioned and protective underfoot. Its rubber outsole handles traction on ground surfaces.
Ecco Oregon Retro Midcut size and fit
The Ecco Oregon Retro Midcut caters to medium-footed male hikers. It comes in a selection of sizes and reasonably runs true to size. The boot’s lace-up closure permits users to customize the fit.
The rubber outsole of the Oregon Retro Midcut grips on most types of terrain. The heel has a rounded shape which guides the foot to a 20-degree heel strike. At the forefoot are Dual Flex Grooves which helps create a more propulsive stride.
This mid-cut day hiking boot sports a polyurethane (PU) foam which provides long-lasting cushioning. Part of the Receptor Lite technology is the Integrated Midfoot Shank which supports the foot and assists in the transition from heel strike to toe-off. A removable inlay insole with antimicrobial treatment aids in promoting a cool and fresh environment.
With a combination of oiled suede and nubuck leather, the Oregon Retro Midcut yields a rugged and durable look. It wears a Gore-Tex laminate that creates a breathable environment and provides water protection. A heel counter is added to render stability.
Its closure system uses a flat lace with leather and metal eyelets. At the back of the boot is an elastic area where a pull loop is attached to facilitate easy on and off.
