Ecco Kyle Retro Sneaker History

In 1963, Karl Toosbury founded a European shoe company and named it Ecco. Karl had a secure job but gave it up. He sold his car and house and moved to the Danish countryside together with his daughter and wife. He wanted to produce shoes that fit the foot and not the other way around. When he died in 2004, Hanni, his daughter, took over the company.

Today, Ecco owns and operates factories throughout Asia and Europe. The company manufactures its leather in-house to secure quality and durability, and to protect the environment at the same time.  The company also uses direct injection technology that utilizes polyurethane for a lighter and a more comfortable ride.

We can expect anatomical shapes and eye-catching, colorful designs, and breathable mesh fabrics from Ecco. Aside from Ecco sneakers, the Danish label also offers sandals for every occasion.

The low-top Ecco Kyle Retro Sneaker has a broad cupsole with PU-injected outsole to make them lightweight. Styled in vintage leather, this lace-up sneaker boasts a sporty and luxurious feel.
