Ecco Intrinsic Karma Tie History

Ecco is a Danish footwear company founded by Karl Toosbuy in 1963. The company's growth has been steady, as it was able to sell 1 million pairs of shoes since 1982. Ecco sustained a level of success, as its products were being distributed in over 90 countries.

Today, Ecco is still under the ownership of the Toosbuy family and has six factories with almost twenty thousand employees. While Ecco is not one of the household name shoe brands, its success and longevity in the business is no fluke. The company's dedication to quality has been commended throughout its history.

As an addition to its shoe line, the Ecco Intrinsic Karma Tie continues its theme of quality everyday sneakers. Dependable, comfortable, and affordable, the shoe did not disappoint as with the other models in the series.

Ecco Intrinsic Karma Tie Style

The low top Ecco Intrinsic Karma Tie is a women’s lifestyle shoe that has a contemporary design that matches well with casual clothing. A combination of sporty appearance with leather lining and knitted textile makes for a stylish look. It is available in three colorways – coral blush, cobalt, and black. 

Fit & Sizing

Ecco Intrinsic Karma Tie sneakers are available in women's sizing only. The sizes available ranges from 4/4.5 to 12/12.5.  There are a few customers who had an issue with the sizing, but a majority of the buyers feels the shoe true to its size.  The upper is composed of leather and knitted textile that adds to the shoe’s flexibility. Ecco also made the cushioned inlay sole identical to the shape of the foot for added comfort.

Notable Features

The shoe features a flexible sole that gives stability and grip while the last and molded inlay sole provides support.  The textile and leather uppers move with the feet.
