I can put them on before leaving the house and feel totally comfortable stopping for groceries on the way home – all without sacrificing performance on the golf course.
If you’re looking for a good quality spikeless shoe that offers comfort and is waterproof then the ECCO BIOM Hybrid 3 GTX could be a good option for you With added on and off course style and function this shoe is a sure hit.
Aside from the extra weight I wasn’t accustomed to, I have to say the ECCO’s are right up there with the other outstandingly comfortable shoes on the market.
They certainly feel strong and durable and are made with quality materials.
Ecco's spikeless game doesn't stop with the outsole. The release of the BIOM Hybrid 3 GTX only shows that the brand is on a roll.
Looking at each element of the shoe illustrates that it is packed. The absence of spikes is alternated with the Tri-Fi Grip. It also features the Gore-Tex upper, ensuring that no matter what the weather is, this trainer has got it covered.
Treat it with Tri. Three is a significant number for this shoe. Aside from the shoe name, the outsole also comprises of three sections and is infused with different materials through the Tri-Fi Grip. The first zone is the forefoot, which is applied with a durable TPU material, to provide lateral stability when making a swing. Next is the middle, which is also made of TPU but softer. It helps the foot feel more comfortable. The last part is a toe, which is applied with rounded lugs on the rotational section to encourage optimal movement when making a swing.
The lightweight Ortholite. Sandwiched in the middle of the shoe is a cushioning system that is also found on other performance footwear brands like Adidas and Nike. The Ortholite sole provides long-term comfort that is beneficial when walking long distances.
Low is better. The shoe is constructed with a low-to-the-ground design. It allows the wearer to have a better ground feel to make a more stable step and swing.
Yey for Yak. Ecco is the leading producer of golf shoes with Yak leather. The BIOM Hybrid 3 GTX is one of the many shoes that is coated with this material.
Protected with Gore-tex. Gore-tex is universally known for providing unbeatable water protection. At the same time, GTX allows natural moisture to seep out of the interior through its breathable pattern.
Natural is best. The name of the shoe refers to the anatomical last called the BIOM Natural Technology. Its shape gives freedom to the foot to move naturally. By allowing natural foot motion, the muscles and ligaments are strengthened as the foot is not restricted.
The Ecco BIOM Hybrid 3 GTX is luxury inside and out. The use of Yak leather, a unique material, gives an interesting and a premium accent on its overall look. Currently, seven colorways are being offered for this model giving athletes plenty of choices.
- The interior of the shoe is composed of a stretchable two-layer neoprene which further protects the foot through the soft padding.
- Released alongside this version is the Ecco BIOM Hybrid 3 BOA, a golf shoe that features a revolutionary BOA lacing dial.
