Ecco BIOM Fjuel Tie History

Karl Toosbuy founded the Ecco brand in Denmark in 1963. At a young age, Toosbuy already had his training in shoemaking. Later, he began to dream of owning a shoe company. Prior to establishing his company, he already had a stable career and job as a shoe manager in a factory in Copenhagen. Subsequently, he gave up his career and then sold his car and house to fulfill his dream. Eventually, he and his wife, Birte, decided to relocate to the countryside.

Husband and wife formed a team and began making footwear that meets their standard. Abided by the principle of creating shoes that must fit the foot and not the other way around, Ecco released anatomical footwear for men and women of all ages. Same with other small businesses and companies that started, the Toosbuys encountered several setbacks. There even came to the point that they almost gave up. However, they remained and endured, operating longer hours than usual to achieve the success they wanted.

Finally, the team was able to pull through and their hard work paid off. The company attained its first breakthrough when the shoe, designed by Ejnar Truelsen, was released in the late 1970s. Over time, Ecco has expanded and developed a variety of innovative shoes that provide style with uncompromising comfort. Also to maintain the quality of the leather being used on shoes, own tanneries and factories are operated all throughout Asia as well as Europe.

From the collection of Ecco shoes, here comes a low-top sneaker that is not only stylish but also delivers undeniable comfort, the Ecco BIOM Fjuel Tie. It has a textile upper that offers efficient foot breathability. Available in different colorways, this shoe is available for men and women.
