Facts

The Dynafit Ultra 100 is a cushioned trail running shoe, which aims to provide lasting comfort and protection that the runners need during their longest mountain runs. Its structure is designed to withstand the diverse and technical trails with mud, roots, and rocks.

This neutral running shoe features a breathable mesh top that offers continuous ventilation and targeted support. The designers also used a layer of elastic mesh fabric that covers the tongue to protect the shoelaces from scratches.

A soft and responsive foam called the Ultra midsole is integrated into the Dynafit Ultra 100. This material delivers the necessary cushioning and support needed for ultra-deep runs. Below the Ultra midsole is a durable outsole material that utilizes the Pomoca® rubber studs for enhanced grip on varied terrain. The outsole and midsole materials are working together to provide a well-protected and comfortable running experience.

Several factors affect the fit of the Dynafit Ultra 100. This includes the lace-up closure that gives a secure and personalized in-shoe feel. Other elements that influence the fit are the Ortholite footbed and padded tongue. These materials contribute to the attainment of a snugger and more comfortable in-shoe experience.

The Ultra 100 outsole is incorporated into this Dynafit running shoe for exceptional durability. This component offers reliable protection against all types of abrasive trail elements. The Ultra 100 outsole is also coupled with multi-directional Pomoca® rubber studs that boost the shoe’s grip on both dry and wet surfaces.

The Pomoca® Gliding Path is also infused in the outsole. This element runs through the middle of the outsole from heel to the forefoot. It is designed to increase the glide while keeping the shoe lightweight.

The Dynafit Ultra 100 utilizes a soft midsole foam called the Ultra 100 sole. It has superior damping characteristics that offer greater comfort and stability even after running many kilometers on the trail.

An Ortholite footbed is included for added cushioning and shock absorption. The Ortholite is a breathable and lightweight material that adapts to the natural shape of the foot for personalized comfort and support.

The Dynafit Ultra 100 is crafted with a lightweight mesh upper, which allows for continuous ventilation to keep the foot dry and cool for an extended period. The mesh permits the cool air to continuously flow inside the shoe without sacrificing support and protection. Other popular running shoes that feature a mesh top are the Altra Lone Peak 4.0 and Adidas Adizero Boston Boost 7.

The traditional lacing system is used for a secure and customized fit. The shoelaces can also be stowed under the stretch mesh fabric that covers the cushioned tongue. This design helps protect the laces and the tongue from tear and wear.

For optimal comfort, the designers included the Heel Preloader feature. This structure delivers ample support and protection to the ankle and heel. The Ballistic Bumpers are also included in the heel and toe sections to help diminish the effect of impacts.
