Notable elements of the Dynafit Feline Up Pro

- Reliable performances in a well-made and robust package, that’s the thought behind the creation of the Dynafit Feline Up Pro. This trail companion offers precise traction through its use of the Megagrip technology from Vibram®. The Lite Base construction allows the outsole to be light and thin without sacrificing durability.

- A close-to-the-ground midsole configuration encourages proprioception, inherent flexibility, and moderate shock attenuation. It is backed by an insole that has antibacterial and anti-moisture capacities.

- The upper unit of the Dynafit Feline Up Pro utilizes a multilayered mesh, a set of printed overlays and a padded inner sleeve that is seamless in design. A lace pocket acts as a blanket for the quick lacing system (the element that makes the ‘Pro’ version visually  different from the non-Pro Feline Up model).

Size and fit

The Dynafit Feline Up Pro is one size smaller than the usual, according to the Dynafit product page. To achieve a pleasant in-shoe wrap, one should try on the shoe first before purchasing or get a gist on the correctness of the sizing scheme via user reviews.

When it comes it comes to width, the option is D – Medium. It is made using the measurements of male feet, though it has a unisex distinction. Those with narrow or medium foot dimensions are the ones who are likely to benefit the most from such a configuration.

The Minimal Fit system is used in the making of this running shoe. This distinction involves a slightly slim structure that’s prominent in products optimized for sprinting and speed training.

The outsole unit of the Dynafit Feline Up Pro is comprised of the Vibram® Megagrip compound, which is designed to be long-lasting. The job of this layer is to shield against wear-and-tear. Furthermore, its naturally grippy characteristic allows it to provide traction over a range of surfaces and conditions.

Gripping lugs are fashioned all over the outsole. These prominent protrusions are tasked with heightening traction, particularly on tricky terrains. Upward and downward traversals benefit the most from this design.

The Vibram® Lite Base entails a thin and flexible outsole that doesn’t sacrifice either traction or durability. The rubber was crafted to be as robust as its thicker counterparts. It’s touted to be the next step in making trail shoes lighter than before.

The primary cushioning unit of the Dynafit Feline Up Pro is made up of a full-length foam. This component offers moderate underfoot support and protection from the impact forces. It doesn’t have a substantial thickness to permit surface and movement control via proprioception.

A Carbon Shield is integrated into the platform. This layer is meant to be a barrier against sharp rocks and jagged surfaces. It doesn’t hinder flexibility nor the lightweight construction of this product.

An OrthoLite® sockliner is placed right above the main foam piece. This add-on brings extra softness to the underfoot experience. It has antimicrobial and anti-sweat capabilities to maintain a healthy in-shoe environment.

The Dynafit Feline Up Pro features a multilayered mesh exterior which offers breathability and protection against dust and small debris. It is flexible and resistant to tearing.

Printed overlays reinforce the façade, protecting it from scratches and the other unsavory effects of material exposure. These thin synthetic prints also help the lacing system when it comes to securing the foot and keeping it in place.

The Heel Preloader is a wraparound strap that encompasses the upper and the midsole, ensuring that both elements are one with each other. This accoutrement fundamentally keeps the back of the foot stable and inside the interior compartment at all times.

A quick lacing system is used for this product. It involves rounds laces and a securing tab. These features work together to help with the adjustment of the fit. The usual looping and tying aren’t included in this design; only a single manipulation of the system is needed to achieve the desired in-shoe feel. Many trail shoes utilize the quick-lace method, including the popular Speedcross 5 from Salomon.

A lace pocket graces the instep of the shoe. This stretchy blanket is a place to stow the extra length of the crisscrossing shoestrings. Furthermore, it prevents the outdoor elements from infiltrating the foot-chamber or causing damage to the fabrics.
