The low-top DVS Premier 2.0 is offered in US men’s sizes, from 5 to 14. According to multiple reviews, it fits true to size. A standard lace-up closure with reinforced metal eyelets has been used to provide a customizable and secure fit. For a comfortable underfoot feel, this skate shoe has a die-cut EVA footbed. 

While the design of the DVS Premier 2.0 could not be considered as eye-catching, most have positive remarks about its silhouette. Except for one, colorways available for this sneaker are mostly black. Combine this aspect with the relatively modest design, and the result is a footwear that can easily be incorporated into every men’s fashion ensembles.

Available in suede or mesh upper, the DVS Premier 2.0 has its small brandings located at the tongue and flaglets on the sides. Aside from these brandings, no other embellishments are used on the exterior, which makes up for a smooth, clean appearance.

The Premier 2.0 by DVS showcases the Vaporcell tech on its midsole and outsole. This technology offers exceptional board feel, durability, and comfort. Its rubber outsole exhibits asymmetrical line patterns that provide grip on and off the skate.

DVS is a US-based footwear and apparel company that is known for its products in skateboarding, snowboarding, and moto. In an interview, founder Tim Gavin said that the name DVS does not stand for anything, and is not a shortening of the word “devious.” 

Started in 1995 by Tim and his brothers, he always wanted to be more than just a skateboarder. The company experienced ups and downs. During the initial years, it managed to get by. But, during the 2008 economic downfall, DVS was not able to recover and went bankrupt in 2012.

Shortly after DVS filed for bankruptcy, it was purchased by the Sequential Brands Group. Its new owner continues the normal operations by signing new sponsorship contracts. As of this time, DVS is one of the known skater brands. One of its products, the DVS Premier 2.0, has been in circulation since 2014 due to its style, price, and durability.
