The DVS Comanche 2.0+ is a high-performance skate shoe for men. Like the original Comanche, it features a supportive upper in a mesh base material reinforced with heavy-duty leather and regrind materials. The fit is customizable and secure with standard lace closure in place.
This shoe also features heavily-padded tongue and collar for additional cushioned comfort and protection around the ankle. The tongue, in particular, has elastic-centering straps that help keep from sliding to the sides. The molded Vaporcell+ sockliners are removable.
DVS upgrades its heritage Comanche skate shoes for a modern-day skate experience through the DVS Comanche 2.0+. Although designed for contemporary skateboarding, this shoe gives the nod to its heritage roots by presenting an OG skate shoe appeal. The mesh-based uppers are heavily reinforced on high wear areas for a bulky-like appearance but a lightweight ride.
Like the Comanche, this upgrade is available in several colorway options including black/grey/gold, black/white, and white/grey/navy.
The Comanche 2.0+ boasts skate-ready features that make it a standout shoe in skate parks or streets. The outsole is designed with a double cup rubber for extended wear. Although it has sufficient padding and reinforcements throughout, this Comanche upgrade ensures a lightweight ride with a molded Vaporcell midsole, molded TPE insole made from custom Vaporcell+, and framed mesh quarters.
DVS Shoe Company, or otherwise known as DVS, is an American footwear manufacturer that designs and produces shoes and apparel for action sports like skateboarding, snowboarding, and motocross. Established in 1995 by Mike Dunlap, Brian Dunlap, Kevin Dunlap, and Tim Gavin, DVS gained success and global recognition for years but had to file for bankruptcy in May 2012. It is currently owned by the Sequential Brands Group, Inc. (SBGI) and headquartered in Orange County, California.
One of the most popular skate shoes from the US skate brand is the DVS Comanche. It is a low-top performance skate shoe that released as part of the DVS Heritage Skate Shoes collection along with other well-received DVS skate shoes like the DVS Enduro Heir, DVS Enduro 125, DVS Celcius, and more.
Recently, DVS upgrades its heritage DVS Comanche for modern-day skate performance in the form of the DVS Comanche 2.0+. The upgraded version shadows the original silhouette but is more lightweight and uses new technologies such as the molded Vaporcell midsole and molded Vaporcell+ insoles. Each pair of the DVS Comanche 2.0+ originally retails for $65.
- The DVS Comanche 2.0+ also features reinforced Ollie and heel areas, TPU eyestays, and heel tab.
