Bottom line

One of DVS’s most popular skate shoes, the DVS Comanche, receives an upgraded version in the DVS Comanche 2.0+. As with its core model, this performance skate kick garners high ratings from skaters and casual wearers for its comfort, functionality, and style.

The DVS Comanche 2.0+ flaunts a sleeker performance silhouette. Sufficient support is given by the upper, while a molded double cup rubber outsole ensures durability on and off the board. The collar and tongue provide a bulky appearance because of the padding. Despite this, the shoe is surprisingly lightweight.

Good to know

The DVS Comanche 2.0+ is a high-performance skate shoe for men. Like the original Comanche, it features a supportive upper in a mesh base material reinforced with heavy-duty leather and regrind materials. The fit is customizable and secure with standard lace closure in place.

This shoe also features heavily-padded tongue and collar for additional cushioned comfort and protection around the ankle. The tongue, in particular, has elastic-centering straps that help keep from sliding to the sides. The molded Vaporcell+ sockliners are removable.

DVS upgrades its heritage Comanche skate shoes for a modern-day skate experience through the DVS Comanche 2.0+. Although designed for contemporary skateboarding, this shoe gives the nod to its heritage roots by presenting an OG skate shoe appeal. The mesh-based uppers are heavily reinforced on high wear areas for a bulky-like appearance but a lightweight ride.

Like the Comanche, this upgrade is available in several colorway options including black/grey/gold, black/white, and white/grey/navy.

The Comanche 2.0+ boasts skate-ready features that make it a standout shoe in skate parks or streets. The outsole is designed with a double cup rubber for extended wear. Although it has sufficient padding and reinforcements throughout, this Comanche upgrade ensures a lightweight ride with a molded Vaporcell midsole, molded TPE insole made from custom Vaporcell+, and framed mesh quarters.
