The Vionic Satima is a walking shoe designed to deliver support and comfort. It is crafted on the basis of the brand’s Classic Walker. Both models feature the Advanced Motion System (AMS) technology which is made of three components: a breathable mesh upper, a cushioned and flexible midsole, and a podiatrist-designed Foot Motion Technology (FMT) orthotic insert. The combination of these elements delivers a comfortable and smooth ride.

The outsole of the Vionic Satima is made of rubber. This compound is crafted to be hard wearing to endure the wear and tear of walking on concrete. Flex grooves are present on the forefoot, promoting movement while the tread pattern delivers grip on most types of surfaces.

Under the ball of the foot is the 1st Ray technology. This structure is softer compared to the other parts of the outsole, allowing the joints of the first metatarsal to flex naturally.

The Vionic Satima uses a foam midsole to protect the foot against impact when it strikes the ground. Inside is an ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA) orthotic insert that offers firmness to keep the foot supported while maintaining a flexible disposition to encourage proper foot bending. The insole also has a raised arch that prevents the foot from rolling in to keep it stable during the heel-to-toe transition.

A mesh upper holds the foot securely inside the Vionic Satima. The material is also breathable, allowing air to circulate and keep the foot fresh. The interior is lined with a soft cloth that delivers a great in-shoe feeling.

Synthetic overlays add to the stylish flair of the upper. These components also serve to give the upper structure to keep the foot supported. They also protect the mesh against abrasion.

A traditional lace-up closure is found at the midfoot. It helps wearers to adjust the fit to ensure comfort.

The tongue and the collar are both lightly padded. The structures keep the fit snug and prevent discomfort.
