Designed by Ross Klein, the Under Armour Anatomix Spawn was released in December 2013 at $120. The midsole features the Micro G cushioning for a comfortable ride. The outsole comes with a herringbone traction pattern. It is one of the most trusted traction patterns to deliver a beastly on-court performance. The upper boasts fuse and mesh for ventilation and  durability.

Cushion. The responsiveness of the Under Armour Anatomix Spawn comes from the Micro G midsole. This technology is 30% thinner and lighter than standard foam. Therefore, it provides not only a low-to-the-ground feel but also a high level of bounce for energy return.

Traction. The Under Armour Anatomix Spawn comes with a full-length herringbone traction pattern with some wavy flex grooves. This setup makes it easy for wearers to do multi directional movements. With the aid of the TPU at the midsole, landings become more stable and ankle injuries are prevented.

Length and Width. The Under Armour Anatomix Spawn is true to size. There is barely any reported issue regarding its sizing.

Lockdown. To securely keep the foot in place, the Under Armour Anatomix Spawn comes with the standard lace-up system. The shoelaces can be adjusted to achieve a snug fit.

The upper of the Under Armour Anatomix Spawn comes in a combination of fuse and mesh. To deliver durability and breathability in areas that need them most, the mesh comes in varying thickness. The fuse upper is durable. It also leaves no dead space, and it hugs the foot without any pinching.

The Under Armour Anatomix Spawn has one of the most unique designs in 2013. The shoe has a uniquely stylistic color blocking and unexpectedly bright colorways. The Under Armour logos are found on the sides and outsole. The cutouts in the mesh also give the shoe a one-of-a-kind look.

Most of the Under Armour Anatomix Spawn colorways are bright. Definitely, they cannot be missed. Some colorways feature under Armour’s signature athlete Stephen Curry.
