-An all-terrain hiking sandal - the Cross Strap Trail is made with eco-friendly materials that are vegan-friendly. The lightweight, breathable mesh makes this sandal foot-friendly in super hot days.
-It has a contoured EVA midsole that delivers lightweight cushioning and support, and a Vibram Mega Grip outsole that offers sticky traction for wet and dry surfaces.
The Teva Cross Strap Trail is a strappy type of sandal with open-toe construction. Two separate straps cover the midfoot and forefoot separately, and another strap goes around the ankle for a secure fit. Both the straps around the ankle and midfoot are adjustable, and the hook-and-loop closure promotes easy on and off. The front strap is set more forward, covering most of the little toe which means it's unlikely to get stubbed.
Furthermore, this sandal has a contoured footbed that delivers reliable arch support.
This trail-worthy sandal is powered by Vibram Mega Grip outsole. It's a heavy-duty rubber sole that is designed for wet and dry surfaces. Aside from being highly resistant to abrasion, this sticky rubber compound is long-wearing. The middle part of the sole is filled with triangular lugs for grip and traction while the heel and forefoot portions come with horizontal indentations for channeling out water.
The Trail Cross Strap utilizes an EVA midsole that is contoured to the foot, ensuring comfortable and supportive underfoot protection. EVA is a special type of foam that is lightweight and resilient, making it ideal for performance footwear. It's also touted for its ability to absorb shock, thereby reducing fatigue and making long walks bearable.
This hiking sandal has an upper made of quick-drying straps that are made from 100% recycled plastic called Repreve. This eco-friendly material is very durable, abrasion-resistant, and long-wearing. Other Teva sandals are also made of Repreve. Lining the straps is a recycled polyester webbing that supports the foot and delivers superior protection. Other synthetic materials are used in the upper, all of which are vegan-friendly.
The Cross Trail Strap uses a hook-and-loop closure for easy on and off. Adjusting the fit easy, thanks to the Velcro straps. Overall, this model is best for all-day wear and day-hikes.
-Teva is among the footwear brands with a strong drive for sustainability. Since the start of 2020, 100% of their iconic straps were made using recycled materials. That amounts to over 9 million plastic bottles prevented from piling up in landfills.
