If you’re a fan of the original GOwalk 5, you’ll surely feel the same way about this iteration. After all, the GOwalk 5 - Prized uses the same cushioning technologies. The midsole is engineered to be responsive; plus, there are reactive elements at the bottom that make walking on uneven surfaces less of a hassle.

The GOwalk 5 - Prized features a different upper material from the original version. And instead of a Quick-Fit portal, it has a pull tab attached to the back for easy on-off action.

Like the other models in the GOwalk 5 line, this walking trainer also features the ULTRA GO midsole. It is lightweight and pliable, making the heel-to-toe transition go smoothly. The responsiveness of the layer aids in absorbing the shock from impact and using it as energy to make the next step.

Its dual-density nature allows it to deliver both flexibility and support. It is flexible at the forefoot, while the heel section remains sturdy to support a person’s weight.

The midsole also serves as the outsole of the GOwalk 5 - Prized. The foam is very durable and won’t quickly deteriorate even when used on rough surfaces like pavements.

The trainer also features the COMFORT PILLAR TECHNOLOGY under the heel and forefoot sections. They are high-rebound elements that make walking on uneven surfaces an easy task.

For added comfort, there’s a layer of Air Cooled Goga Mat inside. It provides full underfoot coverage to prevent in-shoe slippage. It also has vents that promote air circulation to keep the foot fresh.

A flat knit mesh makes up the top of the Skechers GOwalk 5 - Prized. This fabric is soft, permitting the foot to expand and move naturally. The soft interior lining also prevents irritations. The material promotes aeration of the foot chamber.

This trainer is easy to put on or remove because of its slip-on style. There’s a fabric tab at the back of the collar, which can be used to quickly pull on the shoe. Though it doesn’t have any laces, the collar is lined with foam, allowing it to hug the heel, preventing it from sliding out while walking.

The solid color of the top gets a break with the embroidery detail on the heel panel and the lateral side of the midfoot. The contrasting color of this detail and the rest of the top makes for an interesting style.

  • According to Skechers, the GOwalk 5 - Prized is machine-washable. It is recommended to use the gentle cycle. Afterward, be sure to hang it and leave it to air-dry. Never use any heat sources to prevent early deterioration of the footgear.
