- The Ryka brand produces shoes specifically for women. The Devotion XT is a workout shoe designed to meet the unique needs of the female population who are more inclined to do dance-related workouts. Like the original Devotion, it uses a lightweight molded ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA) midsole with a full-length RE-ZORB drop-in sole for a comfortable ride.

Synthetic overlays are found on the toe cap and heel counter. They serve to protect these areas abrasion and impact associated with rigorous training. The overlays are also located on the side panels, forming a gradient print that protects the mesh.
The trainer employs a traditional lace-up closure to keep the foot securely in place. The padded tongue evenly spreads the pressure made by the round laces to prevent discomfort to the instep. It has an interior direct-attach support system that tightens the side panels when the laces are pulled to enhance lateral support.
The plush collar keeps the back of the foot locked down. It also prevents irritation to the Achilles. A notch at the end makes it easier for the ankle to move. A heel counter is also present in the rear section which serves to keep the foot steady during dynamic workouts.
