Use - As the name suggests, the Nike Zoom Rival M 7 is designed chiefly for middle-distance races. These can range from 800 meters all the way up to 1500. However, it can also yield optimal performance in sprints, hurdles, and jumping tournaments.
Spike Type - Ideal for track rubber surfaces, pyramid spikes are affixed to the track shoe. These measure ¼ inch in length, providing featherlight, superb ground traction. These pins are also changeable for multi-surface grip.
Spike Plate - To keep the runner up on the toes, a forefoot Pebax® plate is furnished. It houses the changeable pins of the track shoe for versatile traction. Its makeup is also intended to boost the pace of the sprinter as it maintains a light yet rigid profile.
One of the enhancements made to the Nike Zoom Rival M 7 is the incorporation of a forefoot Pebax® plate. This design trims down the weight of the running platform while enabling a propulsive performance.
To amplify lightness and reduce drag, the running spike is a featherlight package of mesh and synthetic leather. This combination permits breathability and security.
Introduced to the sprint shoe’s configuration is a dynamic midfoot band. This promotes the security and lockdown of the track shoe.
The Zoom Rival M 7 only runs in men’s standard sizing measurement. It is recommended for women to deduct 1.5 from their usual size preference. This is to secure an accurate fit and size.
The synthetic leather and mesh upper enables the foot-conforming attributes of the Nike Zoom Rival M 7. For security and lockdown, a midfoot band and a classic lace-up fastening system are utilized.
Similar to the configuration of the Nike Zoom D, a Pebax® plate is situated at the forefoot of the Zoom Rival M 7. It coheres to the ultra-light engineering of the sprint spike. It also keeps a good amount of stiffness to maximize forward motion.
Flaunting one of Nike's proprietary midsole innovation—Phylon heel—the Zoom Rival M 7 offers swift, convenient transitions. This component also protects the foot from trauma as it enables plush cushioning. Its impact-absorbing qualities allow for a steady push-off.
The upper of the Zoom Rival M 7 is a combination of mesh and synthetic leather. These materials are responsible for providing sufficient airflow into the foot chamber. Such ability promotes a healthy foot environment, disabling bacteria build-up and odor. Moreover, this composition delivers an adaptive fit to the foot for heightened security.
For added lockdown, a midfoot band is implemented within the platform. This is complemented by the lace-up closure of the sprint shoe.
