Nike uses a traditional lace-up closure in the Roshe One Flyknit casual shoes. It allows the wearer to adjust the shoe in a comfortable fit. Meanwhile, the Flyknit upper actually molds to your foot to give you that additional snug yet comfy fit to it.

The men's and women’s Nike Roshe One Flyknit represents versatility when it comes to style. This pair of kicks can go along with a variety of outfit choices. It goes perfectly well with gym attire when going for a work-out. The shoe can also be a good choice as a compliment for a street-style look when out for a stroll around town with some friends. It is also great with a casual look when running some errands or with appropriate work attire and used for the day-to-day routine. The shoe works well with a pair of skinny jeans, joggers, jean joggers, and also leggings and shorts. It is great for some uniforms like for nurses and doctors when on duty.

With colorways, the Nike Flyknit Roshe One comes in a great variety ensuring that there are colors and a shoe in this variation for everyone. Ultimately, it all comes down to getting the right one that fits perfectly for you.

The “bright” and “cool” colorways of the shoe are what mostly attracts the attention of the buyers. They love how the shoe gives off a “fun” vibe. For many fashion-forward sneakerheads, these colors represent the chance to play around with their outfits, something that is always a plus. The comfort offered by the shoe didn’t fail to get praises from most people. Many also loved how the shoe keeps the foot from hurting after a long day of walking around.

Success is something that Nike is very well versed in. A brand that has become synonymous with the term “pop culture,” creating a big name for itself in the world of sneakers. Despite the massive success the brand has now, humble beginnings is what Nike had when it started.

  The Nike brand’s humble beginnings

It all began in 1964 when a former University of Oregon runner named Phil Knight founded Blue Ribbon Sports (BRS). Along with his partner and former coach Bill Bowerman, the two began as distributors of Onitsuka Tiger. Yet, it wasn’t enough for the two, and it wasn’t long before they parted ways with Onitsuka Tiger in 1971. From there, the two went out to work with a factory located in Japan to create and produce their own line of sneakers. Ultimately, they named the line Nike, released the first model, the Nike Cortez, and the rest was history.

Today, Nike has a whole variety of products and lines under it, shoes that have taken the hearts of many sneakerheads. Some of these Nike lines have even gone on to become favorites such as the Nike Cortez; the Nike Air Max which is reinvented every year; the Nike Huarache; the Nike HTM; the Nike SB; and the Nike Air Foamposites to name a few of these favorite lines. Along with the creation of lines, Nike went on to create a slew of sneaker tech that would up its game. One of these happened to be the Flyknit.

The Flyknit tech and the Roshe line

Flyknit was introduced by Nike in the year 2012. After the Flyknit material made its appearance in the Flyknit Racer, the technology has been adapted to the running, soccer, training, basketball and lifestyle releases under the brand, leading Nike to be one of the most creative sportswear brands on the planet.

The use of the Flyknit’s knitted fabrics across the upper of a shoe unlocked completely new and amazing possibilities in designing any footwear. Each stitch on the upper of a shoe can be micro-engineered and changed based on the individual needs of the user. In the fashion industry, Nike Flyknit technology has evolved to be a go-to look. Brand new silhouettes, new colors, and the additional comfort given by the Flyknit made it as one of those must-have shoes.

The Nike Roshe line adapted the Nike Flyknit technology, making the line even better than it already is. The Roshe Run was designed by Dylan Raasch. It went through a number of 16 adjustments on the midsole alone before a design was agreed by the majority. The inspiration for the Nike Roshe sneaker came from a Roshi Zen Master. But for legal reasons and purposes, Nike decided to change this from “Roshi" to “Roshe”. The sole of the Roshe was made to copy the stepping stones found in the garden, and the original Iguana design got its inspiration from the white rocks and moss in the garden.

From the first release of the Roshe Run, a few variations have been released already. One of these variations is the Nike Roshe One and then finally, the Flyknit version of the Roshe One.

  • The Nike Swoosh logo can be found on both sides of the shoe.
  • While the tongue is very thin, the Primeknit material makes it very comfortable, still.
  • It has sufficient padding in the ankle collar for comfort and luxurious in-shoe feel.
  • Kylie Jenner has been known to sport a variety of Nike Roshe One sneakers including the Nike Roshe One Flyknit.
