The New Balance 1350 is a walking shoe crafted to endure the harsh elements of treading in different environments. It uses waterproof mesh and synthetic materials that keep the foot supported and dry no matter what the weather is.

The outsole of the New Balance 1350 is made of rubber. This compound is designed to be hard-wearing in order to bear the harsh elements of various outdoor surfaces. The underside also features raised lugs that provide multi-directional traction on multiple types of terrain.

The New Balance 1350 employs the Fresh Foam midsole. This material is engineered to be one of the most lightweight and softest midsoles from New Balance which is intended to deliver better shock absorption compared to traditional ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA) foam. The lateral and medial sides at the rearfoot are slightly raised to enhance lateral support and hold the foot steady when walking on uneven surfaces.

The upper of the New Balance 1350 utilizes mesh and synthetic materials. The said components have been created to be waterproof so trekking outdoors in unpredictable weather should not result in wet and soggy feet. The synthetic overlays amplify the aesthetics and structure of the top while also ensuring that the underlying mesh is protected against abrasions.

The trainer is equipped with a traditional lacing system. The laces pass through a single slot atop the tongue to ensure that the structure won’t slide to the sides while walking.

Keeping the foot snuggly in place are the plush tongue and collar. The tongue prevents the laces from irritating the instep. The padded collar also locks the rearfoot down to avert accidental shoe removal.
