Good to know

The DC Vandium SE is a low-top, running-inspired skate sneaker designed for men. The upper part features a mix of materials that gives the foot better hold and support. Sealing it off for a secure fit is a standard lace closure with flat cotton laces that can be modified depending on the wearer's liking. Also, the tongue is attached to the collar, so it does not slip to the sides. Because of this inner sleeve construction, you can wear the shoe with the laces loose.

Sufficient padding around the collar and tongue gives extra comfort and protection. The Vandium SE also features a removable Ortholite footbed for cushioning.

The Special Edition of the DC Vandium is another skate shoe that one can effortlessly wear for skating or casual use. Like its core model, it presents an athletic and stylish façade inspired by running shoes. The reinforced upper displays mix of materials such as leather, nubuck, suede, or textile depending on the colorway, while the sole unit stands out with a visible Impact-A airbag.

The DC Vandium SE is available in multiple colorways, including black/white, navy white, aqua, grey/grey/black, black/grey/yellow, black/white/silver.

The Vandium Special Edition from the DC Shoes, Inc. brand displays a running-inspired look that’s fit for skateboarding. Often compared to the classic and ever-popular Nike Air Max 90 sneakers because of its cushioning system, it flaunts a visible airbag at the heel part of the midsole for impact protection. Some colorways even have speckled detailing on the midsole for added flair.

DC Shoes Inc., otherwise known as DC, is a California-based action sports brand that has been designing and manufacturing footwear, apparel, and accessories since its founding in 1994. Founders Damon Way and Ken Block started with a series of startups before finally forming DC, including Blunt Magazine, Eightball Clothing, and Droors Clothing.

In 2019, DC dropped the DC Vandium as a running-inspired skate shoe that doubles as a stylish casual shoe for casual use or street styling. Also introduced is a special edition of this model called the DC Vandium SE. It features a leather, suede, nubuck, or textile upper, Unilite midsole, Impact-A technology for impact protection and superior cushioning, and Dynamic Grip Technology rubber outsole. Each pair of the DC Vandium SE originally retails for $100.

  • The SE in the DC Vandium SE stands for “special edition.”
  • This shoe also features molded TPR (thermoplastic rubber) eyelet and molded TPR tongue logo.
  • The Dynamic Grip Technology (DGT) rubber outsole has 3 different rubber durometers for optimum grip and traction.
