A strong and flexible support is delivered by the canvas upper of the DC Union Hi TX. Men’s sizes are available from 6-14 in medium width. It's true to size, but a couple of users attested that the sizing runs small. Ample protection for the ankle is provided by the sneaker's high-top collar, while the laces at the front secure the fit.

Skate-inspired and straightforward, the DC Union Hi TX has a distinctive street style appeal that can be mixed and matched in different ways. Jeans, track pants, and shorts can be paired with these kicks for a casual yet trendy flair. It’s perfect for summer footwear, worn with plain or graphic t-shirts for a classic urban fashion approach.

The skate-inspired high-top DC Union Hi TX features a foam padded collar and tongue, which offers premium support and comfort. Its high-top collar is also asymmetrical, adding an eye-catching touch to the sneaker. On the side and tongue is the DC logo for subtle branding. Flat laces, a rounded toe, and the monochrome design and stitching on the upper all add up to the shoe's simple and sporty appeal. A plain white midsole completes the athletic look.

DC Shoes was founded by a couple of young and pioneering classmates who met while they were in community college. Ken Block and Damon Way had launched several startups together, including clothing brand Eightball, Type A Snowboards, and Droors Clothing. The latter brand later became DC Shoes in the year 1993, launching a unique skate brand that would catch the attention of athletes and the street style world.

Just two years after its founding, the brand reached millions of dollars in sales. In 2004, the company was then sold to Quicksilver. Since then, DC has been known by skaters everywhere, with many popular professional skateboarders receiving sponsorship from the brand. Shoes from the brand are not just for skating, as DC has released many models for lifestyle wear.

Among the brand's casual offerings is the high-top DC Union Hi TX, which conforms to the brand's roots by featuring a classic skate shoe silhouette. It's a straightforward sneaker that provides support where needed while delivering comfort for everyday use. It's a shoe that proves DC's versatility, ideal for fashion-forward individuals who want a trendy and reliable pair of kicks.

  • The shoe is offered in the popular and classic “bred” colorway.
  • A characteristic herringbone tread can be found in the rubber outsole, which is also made to be abrasion-resistant for durability.
  • The performance cupsole is built for long-lasting wear.
  • There are vent holes on the shoe for breathability.
