Designed with a canvas upper and a low-top construction, the DC Trase V TX ensures flexibility while providing sufficient foot support and protection. Unlike most sneakers and its predecessor, the DC Trase TX, this version lacks the usual lace-up closure and uses double hook and loop tape closure or Velcro closure (hence the "V" in the name) instead.

This shoe is available for the ladies with sizes varying from US 5 to 11 in B Medium (Standard) width.

Joining DC's extensive catalog of low-top sneakers is the DC Trase V TX, a women-exclusive model that is a what-you-see-is-what-you-get kind of kick. It is plain and simple. While such characteristics seem like a disadvantage for other sneakers, these work well with the Trase V TX.

This shoe’s simplicity and minimal aesthetics are its strongest features. Its monochromatic canvas upper that is only highlighted by double Velcro straps closure and a tonal sole unit collectively makes up a versatile sneaker model. It is easy to wear and pair with almost anything in anyone’s wardrobe.

One feature that strongly sets apart the DC Trase V TX from all the other versions of the DC Trase shoe is its closure system. Since the original Trase TX and other Trase versions exhibit a traditional lace-up closure, this V (which means Velcro) version deviates a little by doing away with the laces and opting for double hook and loop strap closure instead.

DC Shoes, Inc. or otherwise known as DC debuted the DC Trase shoe in 2015 as part of its extensive lineup of performance skate shoes that deliver comfort, style, and skate-ready features. The DC Trase features a low-top construction with different materials.

In particular, the one that utilizes an all-canvas upper and a vulcanized sole is called officially as the DC Trase TX sneakers. Other features of this popular skate shoe include higher foxing tape for added durability and gum sole with DC's signature pill pattern treads for optimum grip and traction.

The DC Trase TX received a Velcro version called the DC Trase V TX. Exclusive for the ladies, the shoe shadows the Trase TX with its canvas upper, vulcanized sole, and other key features, but opts for double hook and loop tape closure in place of usual laces.

  • The DC Trase V TX is also available in kid’s sizes.
  • Also featured are mesh lining, abrasion-resistant sticky rubber outsole, and DC's trademarked pill pattern tread.
