DC Trase SD History

Two friends that met at a community college, Damon Way and Ken Block, established DC in the year 1994. Way and Block wanted to create exceptional footwear that would adequately accommodate the needs of skateboarders and other active sports enthusiasts.

DC Shoes uses wide-ranging professional advertisement and are among the first footwear brands to do so. A team of professional skateboarders publicized the brand and went on a world tour in 1997. Since then, the popularity of the DC Shoes was boosted, and it became one of the top leading skate shoe brands. DC continues to keep its solid stance among the skateboarding community and remained true to its aim of producing high-performance, exceptional shoes.

The DC Trase shoe was introduced by the brand in 2015 with a low-top profile that was also given a variety of material iterations. The DC Trase SD comes with a clean suede upper that is on top of the vulcanized sole. This variation of the silhouette is offered in various attractive colorways, adding more style to its appeal.

This unisex low-top sneaker is offered in medium width and available in men’s sizes from size 4 US to size 14 US. Getting a pair 1.5 sizes down is suggested if you’re a woman opting to cop a pair. The shoe, though, may fit a little snug for one’s favor at first. It also may run small and going up at least half a size may be necessary.
